ok i don't know anything about cameras which could be seen as a bit of a draw back but i do know how to operate one as i've used them

but could you help me to buy the best camera as i have around ?1000 pounds to spend and would like to get the best value for money and also one that i can edit the film on my PC and also one that has the basic features.

i would be glad for the help

Don't buy one, see if you can borrow one from somewhere. If you're shooting film especially.
